Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Rumored (“the Service”) is an AI brand intelligence platform operated by Rumored (“we,” “us,” “our”). The Service monitors what AI language models say about your brand, verifies accuracy against a ground-truth database, and provides threat reports with actionable recommendations. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Account Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to use this Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One person or legal entity per account. Accounts cannot be shared across organizations.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service through automated means beyond normal usage.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs without written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with a brand you do not have authority to monitor.

4. Billing & Payments

• The Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• New subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of their initial payment, no questions asked. After the 30-day guarantee period, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and methodology, is owned by Rumored. You retain ownership of all brand data you provide. Reports and threat findings generated by the Service are licensed to you for your internal use. You may share report data with your team and stakeholders but may not resell it.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI model outputs or threat assessments will be perfectly accurate. AI model responses change frequently and are outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rumored shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your account through the billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Alabama.
